POSITION SUMMARY :

  • In charge of quality aspects in the factory including internal quality matters, Customer Quality Management, Supplier Quality Management (assessment, audits, etc) and Documents Control
  • Act as Management Representative for all international ISO certifications
  • Responsible for the implementation and compliance of work environment safety policies and guidelines
  • Responsible to ensure compliance of the organization to legal requirements of Work Safety Health Singapore act
  • Manage external services given by external safety officer

 

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE ACCOMPLISHED :

  • Define the quality, environment and EHS policies together with Management
  • Define the quality standards applicable to factories
  • Manage the customer quality and outgoing inspection audit team
  • Manage internal calibration and verification for all measuring devices
  • Validate the Work Instructions for Inspection, for process parameters, and all documents which are related to the quality of the products though to ensure the compliance to the customers’ requirements
  • Organize the Management Quality meeting periodically (minimum once a year)
  • Define, organize, control the documents related to the quality of the products. Act as guardian of the Master lists and all documents (work instruction, ISI, ISPP, references, standards etc)
  • Participate to the safety meeting actively and influence the organization to improve or ensure compliance of the organization at all times, to the local and international standards
  • Ensure compliance to the new WSH policies applicable in Singapore
  • Control the activities of the external safety officer (contract) together with the Plant Manager
  • Manager quality complaints using lean tools (QRQC) and improve quality of processes using lean tools (red-bin review)

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION   

  • Bachelor or Master degree

 

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

  • Minimum 5-10 years of relevant quality management experience
  • Perfect knowledge of quality system, ISO standards, experience of certification deployment
  • Experience of documents control
  • Strong statistic knowledge and capabilities

 

SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • Good management skills
  • Able to work under stress
  • Maintain good customer relationship and liaise tactfully when handling customer complaints

  • High level of accuracy, thoroughness and diligent
  • Ability to work independently, and with other departments
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to make decision fast whenever there is a risk for the company or for the employees to stop or if not to reduce the risk
