Job Description
> To lead counter renovation and store opening projects.
> To implement visual strategy through store design, visual merchandising and events.
STORE DESIGN – FREE-STANDING BOUTIQUES & COUNTERS
- Review proposed spaces for new free standing boutiques & counters. Consults with local management and regional team to analyse location, traffic flow and design criteria.
- Facilitate communication among key stakeholders during the design phase and all phases of construction to ensure projects are in line with brand business objectives and are completed in a timely manner, within budget and up to brand standards.
- Monitor work process and develop “Punch List” (list of deficiencies) at the end of construction.
- Develop maintenance program for doors fit-outs.
- Establish an image database of all boutiques & counters and ensure information is up-to-date at all times.
VISUAL MERCHANDISING
- Adapt visual merchandising guidelines created by Central & regional team and communicate to all boutiques & counters.
- Work with Regional team to conceptualize and develop enhanced visualization and product presentation in store to support new launches and existing products.
- Lead the development and production of any merchandising elements that may be required. Qualify and select display vendors and oversee the production.
- Provide guidance to sales & marketing teams to correctly interpret and implement merchandising guidelines.
- Periodically visit doors to ensure visual guidelines are followed.
- Provide accurate forecast for all code 3 (display & testes) items.
- Analyse industry trends and share findings with local management and regional team.
EVENTS
- Work closely with local & regional teams to interpret brand vision and support the overall brand strategy through events and marketing programs.
- Be the primary recipient of all design requests for events, validate requests and take action as required.
- Support the team in selecting and qualifying creative agencies and production companies for the design and implementation of PR & in-store events.
- In connection with all relevant parties, manage major events from conception to implementation, ensuring all project milestones are reached in a timely manner and within budget.
Qualifications
- University graduate in Design and/or Interior Architecture preferred.
- Demonstrable extensive experience in Visual Merchandising and/or Store Design.
- Ideal candidate should have over 5 years of relevant experience in prestige fashion, high-end retail and/or beauty. International experiences a plus.
- Able to communicate effectively with all levels, both verbally and through drawings.
- Able to understand architectural details and construction drawings.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong problem solving capabilities and ability to multitask.
- Strong sense of deadlines.
- Highly driven, energetic, flexibility and team spirited.
- Excellent attention to detail, ability to execute flawlessly, strong project management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite. Auto CAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Free Hand Spatial Sketches.
