Shipping Coordinator

Company Description

Our client, a Japanese MNC is looking for it's Shipping Coordinator, to be based in Singapore.

Job Description

  • Preparing Sales and Purchase contracts, full set of import/export shipping documents based on L/C, Certificate of Origin, Customs/Insurance declaration, Monthly delivery/sales reports, issue payment vouchers, etc.
  • Correspond and arrange with suppliers, overseas offices, customers and forwarding agents to ensure smooth and timely cargo delivery.
  • Handle administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ level with at least 2 years of relevant working experience 
  • Able to work well as a team member
  • Must be computer literate and able to use MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of L/C and SAP will be an advantage
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice
  • Willing to commit for 5 months contract
