Our Regional Medical Center, is a 25-bed, acute care facility accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). It is located in Texas. Our Regional Medical Center is also an American Heart Association "Get with the Guidelines" recognized facility with a Level 4 Trauma Emergency Department. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency care, medical/surgical rooms, OB care, pharmacy, laboratory, surgical and home health services. Our Regional Medical Center is also a hub of the community providing meeting areas for several local service clubs.

The Director of Med/Surg is accountable and responsible for the effective delivery of competent, compassionate, and efficient patient care in the Medical/Surgical Unit and Swing Bed Unit. This includes overall direction of clinical, human resources, and financial management.

Qualifications
Your Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. BSN required. MSN or masters in related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five years acute care experience required with critical care preferred, including two years of management or supervisory experience.
Licenses/Certificates:
Must have a RN license to practice professional nursing in the state for which you are applying.. Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS upon hire. Certification preferred.
