Our Regional Medical Center, is a 25-bed, acute care facility accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO). It is located in Texas. Our Regional Medical Center is also an American Heart Association "Get with the Guidelines" recognized facility with a Level 4 Trauma Emergency Department. The hospital offers 24-hour emergency care, medical/surgical rooms, OB care, pharmacy, laboratory, surgical and home health services. Our Regional Medical Center is also a hub of the community providing meeting areas for several local service clubs.

Emergency Department Director reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and is responsible for directing and coordinating the Emergency Department in a manner reflective of the Hospital's philosophy and objective for maintaining required supplies and staffing, and for acting as liaison between the Hospital Administration and the staff. Serves as the Nurse Administrator on-call ( as necessary) to provide leadership and management to personnel during the off hours.

Qualifications
Your Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Licenses / Certifications:
Registered Nurse License
BLS required
ACLS required
PALS certification preferred
Experience:
Two years supervisory experience required
Three years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment required
Must be able to follow directions and to perform work according to department standards when no directions are given
Must be emotionally mature and able to function effectively under stress
Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communications
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public
Education:
