Technical/Functional Skills: 

•Familiarity with packaging processes and packaging equipment. 
•Understanding of Commissioning and qualification process of an equipment, packaging line, etc. 
•Working experience of packaging automation. 
•Experience of vision inspection systems used in packaging. 
•Experience in engineering support to troubleshoot issues using Allen Bradley/ Siemens/ Honeywell PLC and HMIs. 

Experience Required: 

•Knowledge of vision inspection systems, laser vision Checkweigher. 
•Basic understanding of computer networking, packaging line equipment setup and design. 
•Familiarity with packaging processes and packaging equipment. 
•Understanding of Commissioning and qualification process of equipment on the packaging line, etc. 
•Excellent analytical, organizational, team and project management skills 
•Experience of configuration and troubleshooting of vision equipments, PLCs (Allen Bradley/Siemens), hand held scanners, printers etc 
•Excellent problem solving and written/verbal communication skills 
•Excellent computer skills (MSOffice®, Outlook and Access®) 
•Must be flexible to international travel (mostly to Europe). This job will involve travelling to other Lilly sites for packaging line Serialization system deployment assistance and support 
•Experience in providing engineering support in 24/7 pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations 
•Worked in direct support of and along with the maintenance staff to maintain both complex and simple systems used in packaging operations 
•Experience with Systems Management (disaster recovery, problem management, incident management, change management etc). 
•Strong problem-solving skills are essential. Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution. 
•Understanding of Pharma drug manufacturing processes is a plus 

•Experience of troubleshooting Packaging line hardware, PLC programming. 
•Familiarity with formal Change Management and Incident Management Processes. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 
•Assisting existing Serialization Execution System deployment team to gather knowledge of deployment process 
•Assist existing teams in qualification and validation activities and further provide assistance to Serialization support team to manage serialized lines. 
•Develop a global, repeatable, and logical process to effectively resolve any issues arising from the installation and subsequent operation of Serialization hardware components in packaging operations. 
•Maintain and update procedures as required. 
•Maintain Spare Parts inventory and communicate effectively on time for any new spare parts requirements. 
•Own the lifecycle of a break/fix issue (related to hardware) according to established service level agreements, including initial acceptance, diagnosis of the issue, triage to the appropriate sub-teams including OEMs where appropriate, formal deviation investigation where appropriate, communication to impacted stakeholders, resolution/closure of the issue, and updating appropriate knowledge management records. 
•Coordinating with multiple teams and status reporting to customer. 
•Providing consultation to Serialization support team.

•Resource should be quick learner and self-driven; capable of meeting with Business Users and working cross-functionally to define requirements, configure and deploy solutions. 
•Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively to meet defined delivery levels in a customer facing role.
