Will support key committees, including the Public Policy Committee and Global Ambassadors Committee, of VOMI Global Think Tank and Advisory Board, the global virtual organization management advocacy arm of the board whose mandate includes research on, and recommendation of, new approaches to international relations that reflect the realities of the new Virtual Organization World and the paradigm shift from Nation-States to Corporate-States. Will champion new ideas that incentivize world leaders to act in their nation's best interests and the global interest instead of their own self-interest; and promote strong, vibrant and democratic virtual organization institutions worldwide.
Your activities will include 1) writing articles, white papers, and speeches on innovative approaches to peace and security, nation-building, global integration, a priori ethics, etc., 2) legislative and policy research, 3) legislative tracking, 4) media research, 5) drafting letters to the White House and the US Congress as well as to other similar institutions worldwide, 6) assisting in various lobbying efforts, 7) administrative support, and 8) participation in board meetings with domestic and foreign officials and dignitaries, hearings, briefings, press conferences, coalition meetings, and other internal and external events. Will also be involved, under strict supervision, in planning and/or attending Board meetings; learning and using parliamentary procedures based on Robert's Rules of Order; recording and transcribing minutes of board meeting; and helping draft Board resolutions.
This is a 30-Day UNPAID Global-Virtual Internship, with a possibility of being extended for up to a maximum period of 90 days based on your initial performance during the first 30 days. Our internship program is Year-Round and is open to all applicants worldwide who meet our strict requirements. All selected interns who have successfully completed the maximum total of 90 days of internship will receive a $500 stipend for tuition and education expenses subject to meeting other stipend award requirements.

You must be an undergraduate student in your final year, or a Master or Ph.D. Program student, majoring in International Relations. Must have a min 3.00 GPA in your major or equivalent; a 3.75+ GPA is preferred. An obsessive compulsion to make the world a better place is a huge plus. Admission is limited only to students who will receive course credit for the internship, however, a waiver of this requirement due to extenuating circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis. As well, we require the following:

• Excellent written and oral communication, research, and writing skills
• Highly disciplined, focused, and extraordinary ability to adapt and thrive in a virtual organization
• Must be totally self-sufficient in a 100% virtual environment
• Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
• Fluency in English required, additional language proficiencies (French, Chinese, etc.) are a plus
