Overview

Seeking personable, fun, engaging, creative, hard-working, and self-motivated Web Design Interns (worldwide), with a passion for all things Virtual Organization and Social Media; who can bring creative ideas to the design team and implement them.  Will support the VOMI Global Think Tank & Advisory Board, a powerful  advocacy force within VOMI, and VOMI and affiliates, in a 100% virtual organization environment.  You will, under strict supervision and in partnership with other designers and key corporate stakeholders, design Google Sites and other simple but yet highly effective websites for various VOMI units using a combination of HTML5, CSS, Javascript, etc.  May also be involved, under strict supervision, in attending Board meetings.  

This is a 30-Day UNPAID Global-Virtual Organization Internship.  Our internship program is Year-Round and is open to all applicants worldwide who meet our strict requirements.

Qualification Requirements: 

You must be an undergraduate student (anywhere in the world) in your final year, or a graduate student, majoring in Web Design, Art and Creative Design, Fine Arts, Computer Science or a related field.     An obsessive compulsion for all things Social Media and Virtual Organizations and the urge to strut your design stuff is an absolute must.  Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript, graphic design (using Adobe Photoshop, etc.), and Powerpoint is an absolute must.  Admission is limited only to undergraduate students who will receive course credit for the internship.

• Willingness and ability to operate and manage, under strict supervision, in a 100% virtual organization environment
• Excellent oral communication and written skills 
• Highly disciplined, focused, and extraordinary ability to adapt and thrive in a virtual organization
• Must be totally self-sufficient in a 100% virtual environment
• High-speed internet access on a 24-hour basis.
• Fluency in English required, additional language proficiency (e.g., French, Chinese, etc.) is a plus
• Knowledge of leading social networks and social media platforms a must (Linkedin, Google+, Facebook, Twitter)
