Graphic Designer
Westword is seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our Production Department as a part-time (generally 20 hours a week) Graphic Designer who will work closely with multiple departments to create high-quality print and web materials. This is a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment in which speed and accuracy are a must.

Responsibilities and Skills include:
Individual must be proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator & Acrobat. Knowledge of pre-press skills a plus. Our company is a digital environment; working knowledge of PDF and standard print practices is essential. You must be able to work quickly, calmly and  
under pressure. The ability to create great work with little to no direction is a plus.
Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.

The Graphic Designer position is responsible for the original conception, design, layout and coordination of creative artwork for our publication. Creative thinking, planning, problem-solving and project-management skills are a must.
