Rebecca Carr CEO

About Rebecca:

Rebecca is the CEO at SmartRecruiters. With over 15 years of experience in recruiting and HR technology, Rebecca brings a deep understanding and passion for the space, supported by roles in product development, pre-sales, and customer success. Her contagious energy and strong leadership give her a unique perspective on this role and organization.

Rebecca’s journey at SmartRecruiters started in September 2014, holding different positions including SVP Growth, VP Product, and VP Solutions Consulting. She rejoined SmartRecruiters in July 2023 after two years at Checkr, where she was the GM for Checkr Pay, Checkr’s earned wage access product, and Chief of Staff to the CEO. This experience is added to earlier roles leading global product teams at Jobvite, Branchout, and Playdom (acquired by Disney in 2010).

When not in the office, Rebecca is a triathlete, mom of 2 little girls, and loves spending time on her pilates reformer. She attended the University of California – Berkeley and Harvard Business School and lives outside of Boston, MA.

Lehua has over 20 years of recruitment, employment brand, HR operations & strategy, M&A, and consulting experience. Lehua has worked for some of the world’s most recognized brands, Gallup, TD Ameritrade, and most recently at Ceridian where she helped the organization successfully enter multiple new markets through 8 acquisitions in 18 months.

Lehua obtained her Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Human Resources Management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Lehua was awarded Talentful’s Top 50 Leaders in Tech and TAtech’s 100 Most Influential Talent Acquisition Thought Leaders in 2022.

About Robert:

An HCM cloud software evangelist. Passionate about helping companies transform the way they engage, hire and retain top talent. 22 years’ experience within the recruiting marketplace. Previously spent 9 years scaling an HCM software business from 11 employees to over 700 employees as part of their senior leadership team. In 2016, joined SmartRecruiters as the first sales and marketing hire in Europe with responsibility for UK/Northern Europe. As CSO, Robert is overseeing our global Account Executives, Sales Development, Pre-Sales and Partnerships teams.

About Steve:

Steve is a 4x CMO with a passion for building winning teams, partnering across organizations, and focusing on the customer. With experience at Public, PE, and VC-backed SaaS companies, Steve was most recently CMO at Prophix, taking the business from $65 to $135M in revenue in less than two years. Steve was named “2019 Marketing Executive of the Year” by SiriusDecisions/Forrester for the return he generated on marketing investments. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from the University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom. Outside of work, he is an avid skier, hiker, and wannabee runner. Born in the UK, he’s lived in the US since 2000. He now lives in Darien, CT with his wife and two teenage kids.

About Michał:

Michał runs SmartRecruiters' engineering function and is responsible for software development, infrastructure, and security.

Michał spent the last 15 years building distributed systems and managing engineering teams in various industries. He joined SmartRecruiter in 2012 as one of the first employees and helped scale the platform to support the needs of some of the largest enterprises in the world.

He is passionate about creating engineering organizations where teams are empowered to deliver business outcomes.

Michal has a Master's in Computer Science from Jagiellonian University.

About Thomas:

Tom’s career is one of building and scaling tech businesses. Most recently, Tom served as CFO for JOOR establishing it as the world’s largest wholesale B2B marketplace processing over $1 billion per month in GMV. Calling on skills centered around rapid change management, he also steered NYRA through a Chapter 11 reorganization securing NYC’s first casino (Resorts World - Queens) - it has since provided more than $4 billion in revenue to NYC’s public schools.

Tom is a board member with the Arthritis Foundation and a mentor for the Villanova University School of Business graduate program.

Shiran is the SVP of Product at SmartRecruiters. With a rich background in product leadership and entrepreneurship in HR Technology, Shiran has a track record of managing large-scale products and cross-functional global teams.

Before joining SmartRecruiters, Shiran held leadership roles at HiBob as VP of Product and was the CEO and Co-Founder of Cassiopeia, a company she successfully led to its acquisition by HiBob.

Recognized for her achievements, she was featured in the 2019 Forbes 30Under30 list. Shiran holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Law (both Cum Laude) and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
