Web 2.0 Recruiting System Adds Valuable New Features, Significant Enhancements

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – August 19, 2009 – The newest release of SmartRecruiters, the free
and easy applicant tracking system (ATS) from MrTed Ltd., marks a major milestone, offering
several important and useful new features and enhancements.
A few of the new highlights in the SmartRecruiters August Release include:

• A selection of first reports are now available for viewing in the ATS.
• Users can easily add Google Maps directly to their career sites and display job locations
  on their career site job lists.
• Job preview overlays have been integrated.
• Two new job boards integrated in the ATS.

Here are some of the most important highlights of what the benefits and features in
SmartRecruiters’ August Release include:

First Dashboard Reports - The most dramatic visual change in the look of the SmartRecruiters
ATS is the result of integrating a few new dashboard reports. This major improvement is the first
phase of integrating the SmartRecruiters reporting engine. Data and statistics can now be viewed
from four different reports with many more coming soon.

SmartRecruiters users can even customize their dashboard to display the two most important and
relevant reports right on their home pages!

This new ability to get an immediate view of important data and statistics from selected reports
can be immensely helpful when deciding on a sourcing strategy or managing an applicant
database.

SmartRecruiters expects to soon announce the ability to export report data.

Google Maps Component for User Career Sites – Users can now integrate Google Maps
directly into their career sites and show their office location – or any job location – right on the
career site. This feature is designed to automatically show a user’s headquarters location, but it
can also be edited to enter any address. It’s as easy as dropping in a calendar or a standard text
box, giving user career sites a definite edge!

Job Location Displays on Career Site Job List – Users spoke, we listened and acted. Many
of SmartRecruiters clients said they wanted job location displayed on their career site’s job list.
Our August Release incorporates this feature. Now, when a recruiter posts jobs that might be
based in locations other than their main addresses, they no longer need to worry that applicants
will have trouble finding and applying for the positions in relevant areas!

Candidates will now have a much easier experience on your site, being able to sort through your
job lists to instantly identify the jobs that are geographically relevant to them.

Job Preview Overlay – The new Job Preview Overlay emulates the easy-to-use Preview
Overlay that is currently seen in the SmartRecruiters main applicant list. All a users needs to do is
move their cursor over the names of applicants and a cool and user-friendly overlay window will
automatically show them the most important information associated with any candidate’s
application.

The August Release also lets users take advantage of this feature in their main job list. Here, the
Job Preview Overlay gives an efficient and easily accessible preview of some of the most
important information about any job a user rolls the cursor over. Even better, a recruiter can
view – and open – any or all of the applicants for this position, directly from the new Job Preview
Overlay.

Two New Job Boards Integrated in SmartRecruiters – TwitterJobSearch and TweetMyJobs
are now accessible to all SmartRecruiters users! We encourage recruiters to embrace the power
of Twitter, to share their jobs on Twitter, anywhere in the world. It’s where more and more
candidates are turning.
