A note from SmartRecruiters’ Head of People, Sarah Wilson
What a year! We think everyone deserves a little rest and relaxation after such an unprecedented (are we still allowed to say that word?) year, and that is why we at SmartRecruiters are shutting down our laptops and global home offices and taking a breather from Dec 24-Jan 1st.
With our new WFH reality, we’ve all felt the line between professional and personal blend in the last year. Burnout is real! It’s important to take some time to reboot, especially after the record-breaking year and celebrating 10 million jobs created at our 10 year anniversary.
This year, SmartRecruiters went remote-first and with that, we’ve been redefining our people policies. Remote workers have different needs and challenges, and we are supporting our Smartians with a Remote Ops Team headed by our Director of Smartian Experience, Romain Delebecque. This team will be driving our remote culture, ensuring our programs, ops, and perks to keep our most valuable assets i.e. our amazing people happy, healthy, and productive. Romain and team will be leading the charge in redefining what life is like on Smars in 2021 and beyond.
While we take a collective breather #asone, you can still reach our customer support team as normal. These elves deserve extra presents this year!
We’re looking forward to returning in 2021, recharged and ready to go. We already have our New Year’s resolution picked out: help TA leaders conquer their biggest priorities for next year and beyond – delivering more diversity in hiring, conquering remote hiring and collaboration, driving more efficiency with automation and more.
